Proposed Changes
Currently the California Container Recycling and Litter Reduction Act allows CalRecycle to make market development payments. These payments are scheduled to sunset on January 1st 2017, this bill would extend plastic market development payments to January 1st 2022. The bill is amending Public Resources Code Section 14549.2 & Public Resource Code Section 14581.
